A very small piece about energy....

Everything is energy and energy is everything. The universe is filled with energy, all matter is made of energy and energy particles. When we inhale, along with oxygen we take in 'subtle energy', the energy that sustains life. The Chinese call it Qi (pronounced 'chee'), Indians call it Prana, Japanese call it Ki. I call it any of these or universal consciousness. This subtle energy can be transferred to create electricity, trees and plants, we use it to think, feel, move and speak. There are infinite uses of this energy. It permeates the whole universe and is present in all life forms and matter.

Throughout history different theories have helped shape the general population's views on energy, the universe and even themselves. To mention but a few ... Einstein's Theory of Relativity (early 1900s) demonstrated that time and space are not fixed. It is one of the most well known theories and had a far reaching impact on our view of energy and the universe. In recent years, science has shown that matter is not really solid at all, thanks to quantum physics. Matter is made up of very small particles called quantum particles. These particles change upon observation and again with a different observer....... things are not quite as we may have once assumed they were.

As I mentioned before, everything is energy, including us. Our 'space' (sometimes referred to as the aura, electromagnetic field, spiritual energy system) is composed of subtle energy that extends out to about 2-3ft around our physical body. In western cultures, many of us have become so accustomed to seeing ourselves as the physical body and yet we are so much more than this. Many of us have forgotten who we really are ....
 

I see myself as a spirit with a body. I incarnate on earth to learn and grow. I have incarnated hundreds of times and experienced many different lives. I have a physical body which is surrounded by an aura. My aura is made up of 7 layers that extend from the body and each layer corresponds to one of the 7 main chakras. A chakras is an energy vortex, cone shaped with the thin end of the cone situated at the spine. There is one part extending from the spine out to the front of the body and one part extending out from the spine behind the body.  The chakras must be balanced to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. As we go through life different experiences leave their energy in our aura, creating imbalances which affect the mind, emotions and eventually the physical body.

It is my aim to help others achieve balance and wellbeing in their life. I can help by offering massage, yoga, Reiki etc. however there are simple things you can do to feel more alive and vibrant. The quality of your energy depends on the quality of your blood, nerves and energy pathways. By taking care of your body with a wholesome, nourishing diet, fresh air and exercise, (walking is great), enough rest, play and relaxation combined with breathing effectively, you can greatly improve your energy levels, health, vitality and wellbeing. All parts are connected and whatever you do to balance and improve wellbeing on one level (physical, mental, spiritual) automatically benefits all other levels.

All of our work involves being aware of energy, managing our own energy, reading energy (psychic readings) and helping others balance their energy (physically with yoga and massage, mentally with meditation, spiritually with healing).
